Chad Hurley was born on July 21, 1977 in Pennsylvania. Since childhood, he showed great interest in art. In high school, his interest changed to the computers and electronic media. In 1999, he got his B.A. in fine arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. In 2005, he founded YouTube, a well known video-sharing website, with Steve Chen and Jawed Karim. In October 2006, YouTube was sold to Google for $1.65 billion. In October 2010, Chad Hurley stepped down as CEO of YouTube.
