Blake RossBlake Ross is a software developer, who is best known for his work on the Mozilla web browser. In 2005, he was nominated for “Renegade of the Year” by Wired Magazine. He was estimated to be worth $120M in 2007. See also David Hyatt. On June 12 1985, Blake Ross was born in Miami, Florida. He created his first website at age 10. While he was still in middle school, he began programming. At the age of 15 he worked as an intern at Netscape when he was still in high school. He soon started the Mozilla Firefox project with David Hyatt. In 2003 he was enrolled into Stanford University. In on October 2004, firefox was released to public. There was more than 2 million downloads in the first 24 hours and over 100 million downloads in less than a year. This made Blake Ross a millionaire at the age 19. Later he started Parakey, a web operating system. On July 20, 2007, Parakey was sold to Facebook.
